Service and Sales Update
In August, we finished the month with on-time performance at 97.2% as a companywide measurement. Our average time of delivery was 11:29 am with 58.7% of our freight delivered before noon.  
 
Oak Harbor opens a terminal in San Diego, CA.
San Diego is one of the fastest growing areas of California. As you may recall Oak Harbor started offering overnight service from the bay area and Sacramento California in June of this year. We received a great response to that new service offering, so much so that we have opened a new terminal in San Diego to better service those customers. We believe this move will further solidify our service offering and make our whole network stronger.

2010 Quest for Quality Award
The results are in… and we are pleased to announce that Oak Harbor is a winner of the 2010 Logistics Management, Quest for Quality Award for Western Regional LTL Carrier. The readers of Logistics Management determine the recipients of this award. The readers score each carrier for On-time Performance, Value, Information Technology, Customer Service and Equipment / Operations.
 
For the past 26 years, the results of the Quest for Quality study have set the gold standard for logistics excellence and clearly defined the key characteristics that shippers seek in a world-class logistics provider. We are proud that our team has won the award in five of the last seven years, (2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, and 2010). It is worth noting that 3 of our partner carriers also won recognition in their divisions, South Eastern Freight Lines (Southern), Dayton Freight lines (Midwest), Lynden Transport (Western).
